How to split a PDF

Three needs are settled here with the same tool: cutting a large document into two or three parts, pulling a handful of pages into a file of their own, or bursting a file into as many documents as it has pages. The extracted pages keep their content, their links and their quality, and the original file on your disk is never modified. The pages to extract do not have to follow one another: you can pull pages 2, 5 and 9 into a single document. The split is computed inside your browser, which holds for a thousand-page file as for a two-page invoice. The resulting files carry a name that says where they come from and which pages they hold.
Pulling a single page out of a large document
This is the commonest request, and the one most poorly served elsewhere: pulling a certificate out of an annual statement, an invoice out of a monthly batch, a page of a report to attach to an email.
