How to print several pages per sheet
Open the document, choose the layout — two per sheet, four per sheet, or booklet — and download the resulting PDF. You are not printing straight away: you get a new file, already imposed, which you can read back, archive or send to somebody else. Four pages per sheet divide the paper of a course handout by four; two per sheet keep a text readable while halving it. Making an A5 booklet
Booklet mode reorders the pages by folding order: printed double-sided on A4 sheets and then folded in half, the stack gives an A5 booklet whose pages follow on. It is the only case where the order of the resulting file does not look like that of the original document, and that is normal — it is the binding that puts it back in order. Check in your printer’s options that the flip happens on the short edge.
